On August 16th, the "Bay Area Security Companion" Information Security Symposium, hosted by China Unicom International and co organized by  WebRAY, was successfully held in Hong Kong. More than 20 business representatives and security experts from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other places gathered together for in-depth exchanges on new perspectives of security services, security products and data security, jointly exploring how enterprises can cope with increasingly severe security challenges under the trend of internationalization.

Leaders from relevant departments of China Unicom International have stated that the country is currently strongly encouraging enterprises to go global, and the next step will be to increase efforts in international market development, comprehensively focusing on international infrastructure, cross-border digital services, network security products and services, revitalizing international communication business, and expanding international markets. As the leader of the modern cybersecurity industry chain, we will lead and drive the coordinated development of upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises in the industry chain, and work together with various types of enterprises in the industry chain to maintain the security and stability of the industry chain and supply chain.

Regarding how to achieve cross industry intelligence sharing and build a common defense system to deal with advanced security threats, Shi Jin, Senior Marketing Director of WebRAY, shared brilliant insights at the event. He pointed out that traditional network attack and defense methods are no longer able to meet the current development needs of network security, and a broader common defense system must be built on the basis of independent defense. WebRAY Threat Intelligence Sharing Cloud Platform achieves industry wide coverage by deploying "hard probe" devices in key units in a distributed manner, collaborating with key users across the country to monitor and respond quickly to security incidents, and building a joint defense and control system.

At the end of the event, China Unicom International expressed its hope to further promote the deep integration and close cooperation between the mainland's network security field and Bay Area enterprises through this event, continue to deepen high-level business cooperation and technical exchanges, and jointly build an international intelligent security ecosystem system with Hong Kong as the hub and connecting the world.

At the 2024 Global Digital Economy Conference in July this year, Quan Xiaowen, Chairman of WebRAY, expressed his expectation of working together with global partners to explore new opportunities and achieve win-win development in the wave of digital economy. He also stated that the company has begun to layout overseas markets.

This participation in the Bay Area Information Security Symposium is another important measure taken by WebRAY to continue supporting "going global" enterprises in responding to increasingly severe cyber attacks and cross-border data security challenges.
